To assist young members of the association with their educational pursuits. Qualifications: Applicants must be members in good standing with the Association for at least three years prior to applying and hold one of the following policies in their name: $1, 000 minimum permanent life insurance certificate; $5, 000 minimum term certificate; an annuity certificate. Applicants must be vocational, technical, or trade students, applicants are eligible to win only once in this award category; students currently enrolled in a Bachelor or other advanced degree program are not eligible; applicant must have a high school diploma or Graduate Equivalent Degree (GED) without a bachelor's or advanced degree; applicant must be enrolled or planning to enroll within 6 months of the application deadline, for a minimum of 12 credit hours in a program leading to a certificate, diploma or associate degree.
