To provide undergraduate scholarships to the children of employees of Hanes Companies, Inc., USA. Qualifications: Applicants must be graduating high school seniors and have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale); must be an undergraduate; must enroll in major any one: accounting architecture, art, business administration, chemical engineering, chemistry, communications, computer science, dentistry, emergency services, engineering, finance, foreign language, graphic arts, human services, industrial engineering, journalism, law, mechanical engineering, medical practice, multi-housing industry, nursing, physical therapy, physics, plastics, religious studies, teaching, visual art; parents or legal guardians of applicants must be employees who have completed at least two years (24 months) of full-time service with Hanes Companies, Inc; USA prior to the application deadline; children of employees shall be defined to include natural born or legally adopted dependent children and stepchildren and wards of employees; in the case of stepchildren and wards, the applicant must live in the home with the eligible employee; the applicant must live in the home with the eligible employee; County or Geographic Residence: Alexander County, Anson County, NC Cabarrus County, NC Cherokee County, SC Cleveland County, NC Clio, SC Dillon, SC Fort Mill, SC Gaston County, NC Hoke County, NC Iredell County, NC Kannapolis, NC Lancaster County, SC Lexington County, NC Lincoln County, NC Little Rock, SC Marlboro, SC Mecklenburg County, NC North Carolina Richmond County, NC Rowan County, NC Salisbury, NC Scotland County, NC South Carolina Spartanburg County, SC Stanly County, NC Union County, NC Wilkes County, NC York County, SC.
