Carolinas-Virginias Hardware Scholarship

To provide undergraduate scholarships to children of employees of member firms of the Carolinas-Virginias Region of the National Retail Hardware Association. Qualifications: Applicants must be children of employees shall be defined to include natural born or legally adopted dependent children and stepchildren and wards of employees; in the case of stepchildren and wards, the applicant must live in the home with the eligible employee; parents or legally appointed guardians of applicants must be employees who have completed at least two years of full-time service with a member firm of the Carolinas-Virginias Region of the National Retail Hardware Association; the firm must have been a retail member of the hardware association for at least one year prior to the application deadline; applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale); member firms must be located in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia or West Virginia.
