To financially assist a deserving medical student enrolled in a Pennsylvania medical school. Qualifications: Applicants must be a United States citizen; must be a Pennsylvania resident for at least 12 months prior to registering as a medical student (not including time spent attending an undergraduate or graduate school); must be a second- or third-year medical student; applicant must be enrolled full-time at an accredited Pennsylvania medical school; must be a resident of Pennsylvania. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; should include: two reference letters, from persons other than family members, documenting the applicant’s integrity, interpersonal skills, and potential as a future physician; a letter, on school letterhead, from the applicant's medical school verifying that he/she is enrolled full time as a second- or third-year medical student.
