To provide scholarships to direct descendants of 100th Infantry Battalion World War II veterans. Qualifications: Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.7; Applicants must attend an accredited two-or-four year college or university; Applicants must be full-time students; Applicants must be undergraduate or graduate students; Applicants must be direct descendants of a 100th Infantry Battalion World War II veteran; Applicants must be active in extra-curricular activities and community service. Selection criteria: Preference for recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good academic standing.
