To help female students in Hawaii pursue post-secondary education, especially in STEM fields. Qualifications: Applicants must be a resident of the State of Hawai'i; demonstrate financial need; GPA 3.0 or above; be a female student; be a graduate student; attend a college or university located in the State of Hawaii; maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA. Selection criteria: Preference for recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good academic standing; intend to major in STEM, Selection will be based on committee criteria. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application form; most recent unofficial grade transcript; any short essays and/or other documents that may be required or recommended for specific scholarships; current cumulative grade point average (gpa); transcripts should be as recent as possible and should not be a duplicate from a prior year hcf application; 2 letters of recommendation (lor) are not typically required to submit Applicants application.
