To provide maximum flexibility to meet the philanthropic goals of our donors and the needs of our community. Qualifications: Applicants must be a resident of the State of Hawai'i; be a resident of one of these Leeward Oahu zip code areas: 96701, 96706, 96707, 96782, 96792 or 96797; be an undergraduate college student; intend to major in a health-related field; be enrolled as a full-time student; attend an accredited, two or four year college or university; demonstrate financial need; minimum GPA of 2.5; must attend a school in the United States. Selection criteria: Preference for recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good academic standing; majors in which there are current shortages; students likely to return to work in Hawai'i; students with a GPA between 2.5 - 3.75. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; should include FAFSA submission summary; most recent unofficial grade transcript; any short essays and/or other documents that may be required; additional documents: letters of recommendation, SAT/ACT scores for high school seniors, verification of organization affiliations, native Hawaiian ancestry verification. Focus: Health sciences.
