To provide college scholarships to students of Kaimuki High School, or other public high schools that primarily serve low-income students. Qualifications: Applicants must be a resident of the State of Hawaii Demonstrate financial need; maintain a minimum 2.7 - 3.5 GPA (unless otherwise stated); be a Kaimuki HS graduate; must attend a school in the United States. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria; Preference: Attending a mainland institution Be a graduate of a Hawaii public high school, or other public high schools that primarily serve low-income students, intending to support students in getting a second chance. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; should include FAFSA submission summary; most recent unofficial grade transcript; any short essays and/or other documents that may be required; additional documents: letters of recommendation, SAT/ACT scores for high school seniors, verification of organization affiliations, native Hawaiian ancestry verification.
