To help students in Hawaii pursue degrees in veterinary science. Qualifications: Applicants must be a resident of the State of Hawaii; demonstrate financial need; must be in good academic standing or by maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0; preference for recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good academic standing; attend an accredited college and/or university; study veterinary science or medicine; must attend a school in the United States. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; should include FAFSA submission summary; most recent unofficial grade transcript; any short essays and/or other documents that may be required; additional documents: letters of recommendation, SAT/ACT scores for high school seniors, verification of organization affiliations, native Hawaiian ancestry verification. Focus: Veterinary science and medicine.
