To support long-time residents of the traditional ahupua'a of Kualoa, Ka'a'awa, Makaua, and Kahana. Qualifications: Applicants be a resident of the State of Hawai'i GPA of 2.0 or higher; Be a resident of the Ka'a'awa area on Windward Oahu, areas of the traditional ahupua'a of Kualoa, Ka'a'awa, Makaua, and Kahana. Selection criteria: Preference for recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good academic standing. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online; Letter recommendation; continuing College Students - must also include past semester grades/information; High School Seniors - must include ninth through 11th grade at a minimum (IF available, include grade 12 information); current cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA); transcripts should be as recent as possible and should not be a duplicate from a prior year HCF application.
