To provide scholarships to employees or dependents of employees of Kahala Senior Living Community, Inc. Qualifications: Applicant must be a resident of Hawaii and a current employee or a dependent of an employee of Kahala Senior Living Community, Inc.; must be attending an accredited college or university or vocational education program in Hawai'i; must have a minimum 2.7 GPA (2.0 for vocational students) and demonstrate financial need. Selection criteria: Preference will be given to applicants who were awarded in the immediate prior year and maintain satisfactory academic progress; Preference will be given to applicants attending an institution on the island of Oahu; Preference will be given to applicants intending to major in fields related to healthcare, therapy, law, education, or non-profit management.
