To provide scholarships to Hawaii students pursuing post-secondary education. Qualifications: Applicants must be a resident of the State of Hawaii; demonstrate financial need; be in good academic standing by maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0; be a graduate of a high school in the State of Hawaii; must attend a school in the United States. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good academic standing; a student who attended and completed their grade level (Pre K-12) at Saint Francis school during the 7 years before school year regardless of what high school they attended or graduate, pursuing an associates, bachelor, or graduate degree at a two or four-year institution. a graduate of a catholic high school in the State of Hawaii, including but not limited to (in no particular order) Saint Francis School, Damien memorial School, Maryknoll school, sacred hearts academy, or Saint Louis School, and who is pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree at a four-year institution. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; should include FAFSA submission summary; most recent unofficial grade transcript; any short essays and/or other documents that may be required; additional documents: letters of recommendation, SAT/ACT scores for high school seniors, verification of organization affiliations, native Hawaiian ancestry verification.
