To support Hawaii students pursuing degrees in math, physics, science, and technology. Qualifications: Applicants must be a demonstrate financial need; be in good academic standing or by maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0; preference for recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good academic standing; be a resident of the state of Hawaii; attending an accredited post high school institution; major in math, physics, science or technology; must attend a school in the United States. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria; preference: demonstrate academic merit and good character. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; should include FAFSA submission summary; most recent unofficial grade transcript; any short essays and/or other documents that may be required; additional documents: letters of recommendation, SAT/ACT scores for high school seniors, verification of organization affiliations, native Hawaiian ancestry verification. Focus: Mathematics and mathematical sciences; Physics; Science; Technology.
