To provide financial assistance to individuals who wish to continue their educational and individual growth and prepare for either the CRCST or CHL certification. Qualifications: Applicants may not be the recipient of this award for two consecutive years. Selection criteria: Applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria from the completed application, personal essay, and letter of reference from an immediate supervisor; financial need; interest in pursuing educational and individual growth goals; participation in activities; years of service in sterile processing. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; should include personal essay describing applicants interest in pursuing educational goals for individual and personal improvement, applicants financial need and any other information that would be helpful in understanding why applicants wish to be awarded this scholarship; essay must be 200 words or more; letter of reference from applicants immediate supervisor verifying applicants current employment and attesting to applicants interest in receiving this scholarship.
