To promote education in instrumentation, systems, or automation discipline. Qualifications: Applicant must be currently enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate program in an instrumentation, systems, or automation discipline (2-year program or 4-year baccalaureate program or its equivalent). Two-year program applicants must have completed at least one academic semester or its equivalent. Four-year degree program applicants must be in sophomore year or higher at the time of application. Applicants must be full-time students in an educational institution and have at least an overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Selection criteria: Preference is given to students who are enrolled in a degree program in instrumentation, systems, and automation or other closely related field. How to apply: Applicants must submit completed application (with Department Head Signature); two reference letters; original transcript (with raised seal); list of awards and honors; extracurricular activities; employment history; and an essay. Mail the original and ten copies of the complete application with attachments unfolded in an envelope. Focus: Automotive technology; Systems engineering.
