To support African/Caribbean students pursuing degrees in the dental field. Qualifications: Applicants must Be of Caribbean/African background and provide proof of Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or student status; must be enrolled as a full-time student at an Ontario university, college or other post-secondary institution; Students pursuing dental-related programs; must be demonstrated academic ability, involvement in school and/or community leadership activities and volunteerism, financial need. Selection criteria: Preference will be given to students with exceptional aptitude in the health sciences and visual arts selection criteria; personal achievements beyond academics which may include personal accomplishments in spite of hardships, and a commitment to their career goals and to giving back. How to apply: Applications must be submit online application form; Proof of full-time enrollment in an Ontario college or university; proof of status in Canada; two-page essay; most recent transcript; photograph and summary; two references.
