To provide financial assistance to Camp Rising Sun alumni. Qualifications: Applicants must be alumni of camp Rising Sun (including former staff members); must be an undergraduate or graduate student in a college or university in the united states during the academic year; international alumni as well as American alumni are eligible, as long as their college/university studies during will be in the united states; members of the LAJF board of directors, members of the advisory council, and non-seasonal LAJF staff (and the immediate family members of all named above) are ineligible to apply. Selection criteria: Applicants will be judged based on intellectual ability, character, financial need and an evaluation of the applicant's experience at Camp and future promise for fostering the values of Camp Rising Sun; decisions reached by the Scholarship Committee are final. How to apply: Applications must be submit online application form; undergraduate essay questions 4 and 5 should be answered in about 500 words each; graduate essay questions 5 and 6 should be answered in about 500 words each.
