To provide financial assistance to undergraduates pursuing higher education. Qualifications: Applicants must be eligible students are graduating seniors of Maine high schools, or graduates within four years of the date of application, who are currently enrolled in a college or university in Maine pursuing a degree in business as a part time (minimum of 9 credit hours per semester) or full-time student; there is a preference for applicants who have a demonstrated interest in personal and commercial insurance professions; must be attend accredited colleges, universities, and technical/trade schools across the United States and abroad; renewal applicants must maintain a minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.0. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on leadership potential, academic performance, work experience, and commitment to school and community, as well as financial need and any other fund-specific requirements. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; a personal statement to tell us about applicants college experiences and applicants goals for next year; a transcript or grade report from applicants fall semester; first page of applicants Student Aid Report from the FAFSA containing applicants EFC; a copy of applicants financial aid award letter from applicants college (if available); two letters of recommendation. Focus: Business; Insurance and insurance-related fields.
