To encourage young professionals to pursue their engineering, technology, computer science, or naval architecture studies towards a Bachelor's Degree. Qualifications: Applicants must be first year students of Kerala origin, enrolled for at least a four year degree course in Engineering; Technology, Computer Science, Architecture or Naval Architecture, in a nationally accredited engineering college or university in India; must have annual family income less than Rs.1,50,000 per year; ranked within the top 5000 in the Govt. of Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination (KEAM Rank); National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) score greater than 110 (For B. Arch students); must have scored above 85% marks in class X and XII examinations. Selection criteria: Selection based on academic merit and financial needs. How to apply: Applications must submit on online form; should include marks-lists of class X and class XII examinations (self attested); marks-list and rank certificate of the govt. of Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination OR NATA score; income certificate including all sources, issued by Tahsildar / Village Officer; if parents or guardians are daily wage workers or laborers or engaged in agriculture, trade or business, statement explaining type of work, labor, agriculture, or business shall be submitted; this requirement is mandatory; recommendation letter from principal, headmaster or teacher of the school where the student studied for class X or XII.
