Material Handling Industry
Award: $1500 – $6000

To promote the study of material handling and to expose as many students as possible to the material handling industry, including the vast array of equipment, systems and technologies represented by the industry; the role material handling in a productive enterprise; and career paths available within the supplier, distributor and end-user (applications) sides of the industry. Qualifications: Applicants must be undergraduate students pursuing a material handling, logistics or supply chain career enrolled full time at a qualified college or university in a target program; undergraduate students may be classified as freshman, sophomore, junior or senior for the fall current year term to be eligible; enrolled at any non-profit college or university in the United States accredited by the council for higher education; must be full-time students with a “B” grade point average or above in their major; must be enrolled in school for the entire academic year (fall current year and spring next year) without interruption barring illness, emergency, or military service; scholarship awards cannot be used for study abroad programs/semesters or summer school.
