Michigan Council of Women in Technology
Award: $1000 – $5000
Deadline: January 31.
To recognize women who have the interest, aptitude, and potential for a successful career in computer science. Qualifications: Applicants must be United States citizen; Current Michigan resident; Female students with a GPA of 2.75 or better; must be pursuing a tech-related degree for the current academic year; Enrolled (or will be enrolled) full-time in a Michigan college, community college or university. How to apply: Applicants must submit official transcripts from each college attended; a letter of recommendation on school letterhead from the head of the Accounting Department or a Professor of Accounting at the college or university in which the applicant is presently enrolled. Focus: Computer and information sciences; Technology.
