To provide financial assistance to students in pursuit of higher technology educational programs. Qualifications: Applicants must be graduating high school seniors; family members of the Evaluation Team and/or Scholarship Corporation Trustees, or prior recipients of Picatinny Chapter Scholarships are not eligible for this scholarship; the scholarship will be awarded to eligible students without regard to race, creed or national origin. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on ability as demonstrated, Transcript, SAT Scores; participation in extracurricular activities and awards received while in high school; counselor and one teacher recommendation; Career Objectives; Completion of an essay on the importance of Defense Preparedness for our Country (Approximately 1000 words).
