To support the education of a student in a human service program. Qualifications: Applicants must be a current member to be considered for most awards; Applicants must be students, educators, or practitioners in human services; Special consideration given to applicants with special needs or minority status. Selection criteria: Selection is based on high academic achievement, but special consideration is given to applicants with special needs or minority status. How to apply: Applicants must be submit an official transcript (sent by the university in a sealed envelope); a resume; an essay (500 words) about the applicant's commitment to the field of helping and quality of Human Service Education; copy of current NOHS membership card; and two reference letters. Focus: Public service; Social work.
