To provide financial assistance to eligible American Indian and Alaska Native undergraduate students pursuing degrees full-time at an accredited institution in any field of study. Qualifications: Applicants must be an enrolled member or a descendant of a federally or state-recognized American Indian Tribe or Alaska Native group; Be enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university pursuing an undergraduate degree in any field of study; Possess an unweighted cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher; applicants must be able to demonstrate Tribal affiliation by submitting a Tribal Eligibility Certificate (TEC) or providing proof of Tribal enrollment via a copy of their Certificate Degree of Indian Blood, Tribal membership/citizenship card, or a letter of enrollment/descendancy from their Tribal enrollment office. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on merit. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; must include native forward scholars fund personal profile; tribal eligibility certificate (TEC) completed by the tribal enrollment office; financial needs form (FNF) completed by the institution’s financial aid office; most recent academic transcript, essay(s) (specific to each scholarship), one academic reference, and one community/leadership reference.
