To promote veterinary medicine and quality animal care through communication, fellowship and professional growth. Qualifications: Applicants must be students who have graduated from North Dakota High School and have been accepted in a college of veterinary medicine in North America. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria. How to apply: Applications must be submit approximate financial figures will be accepted in the financial section of the application; current college transcripts are required to be uploaded with the application. If applicants are reapplying for a scholarship applicants only need to submit transcripts that are updates from applicants last scholarship submission; an autobiography is required. If applicants are reapplying for a scholarship an updated autobiography from applicants last one is required. Be sure to tell us about applicants experiences, goals, priorities etc. since attending veterinary school; If this is applicants first time applying for the NDVMA scholarship, applicants must provide several additional items that are specified in the educational section of the application including: verification of graduation from a ND High School or resident of ND for 2 years prior to the application. (there is a location in the online application for applicants to upload this information); acceptance letter to or active enrollment in the Professional School of an AVMA Accredited College of Veterinary Medicine (there is a location in the online application for applicants to upload this information); three professional references. applicants must include at least one instructor/faculty member and at least one veterinarian; family members or friends are not acceptable references; references or letters of recommendation can be uploaded in the educational section of the application or applicants can have the individual providing the reference send it directly to email. Focus: Veterinary science and medicine.
