To provide support for students, programs, and activities that enhance the quality of education and expand the educational opportunities for students enrolled at Northwest- Shoals Community College. Qualifications: Applicants must be first priority for scholarship given to employees or families of employees of G&G/FMI, regardless of the place of their residence; Students from Franklin County, Alabama who wish to obtain a technical degree from NW-SCC or who wish to complete the basic preparations at NW-SCC to pursue a 4-year degree in engineering or technology may also apply; applicants must have an expressed financial need and must remain in good standing with NW-SCC; 2.75 GPA full-time status, continuous enrollment. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; essay should be 300-500 words; must have applicants transcript and any other documents any letters of recommendation or documentation by the deadline in order to process application.
