To offer various scholarships to support educational pursuits in the Parkersburg, West Virginia area. Qualifications: Applicants must be a Ritchie County High School senior students; preference must be students who participated in scouting or plan to pursue nursing or education; must be current college students; must be residents in the foundations service area: Calhoun, Doddridge, Gilmer, Jackson, Mason, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Wirt, and Wood Counties in West Virginia and Washington County, Ohio. Selection criteria: Selection based on committee criteria following: activities/leadership, service, financial need, special circumstances, academic promise, good character, and good citizenship.
