To support undergraduate and graduate students pursuing postsecondary education in Hawaiian studies, language, or culture and/or education. Qualifications: Applicants must be undergraduate or graduate students majoring in Hawaiian Studies, Language, Culture and/or Education; must be U.S. citizens enrolled part- or full-time at an accredited institution in the United States. Selection criteria: Completed applications submitted by the program deadline date and time are reviewed according to specific fund criteria; applications are sent to individual selection committees for review and selections. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application, which includes: One personal statement essay and one list of extracurricular/community service activities; school transcript (complete with final grade information); current high school seniors attending Kamehameha Schools only: One letter of recommendation; supplemental documents such as LORs, FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS) and art portfolios. Focus: Area and ethnic studies; Education.
