To support students pursuing Hawaiian language studies. Qualifications: Applicants must be undergraduate or graduate students pursuing Hawaiian language studies; must be enrolled part- or full-time at an accredited institution in the United States; must be U.S. residents; must demonstrate financial need. Selection criteria: Completed applications submitted by the program deadline date and time are reviewed according to specific fund criteria; applications are sent to individual selection committees for review and selections. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application, which includes: One personal statement essay and one list of extracurricular/community service activities; school transcript (complete with final grade information); current high school seniors attending Kamehameha Schools only: One letter of recommendation; supplemental documents such as LORs, FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS) and art portfolios. Focus: Foreign languages.
