To support residents of Maui who did not graduate from KS high school and are pursuing postsecondary education. Qualifications: Applicant must be a resident of the island of Maui who did NOT graduate from Kamehameha Schools (must have graduated from another public or charter school); must be pursuing undergraduate or graduate studies at an accredited institution in the United States; must demonstrate academic achievement, community service, and financial need. Selection criteria: Completed applications submitted by the program deadline date and time are reviewed according to specific fund criteria; applications are sent to individual selection committees for review and selections. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application, which includes: One personal statement essay and one list of extracurricular/community service activities; school transcript (complete with final grade information); current high school seniors attending Kamehameha Schools only: One letter of recommendation; supplemental documents such as LORs, FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS) and art portfolios.
