To support the postsecondary education of Hawaii high school graduates who were involved in high school band. Qualifications: Applicants must have a minimum GPA 2.5; must resident of the state of Hawaii; must be a Hawaii high school graduate; must played in a high school band for three or more years. Selection criteria: Completed applications submitted by the program deadline date and time are reviewed according to specific fund criteria; applications are sent to individual selection committees for review and selections. How to apply: Applicant must submit online application form along with two letters of recommendation; one from a band director, one from a teacher, counselor, employer or community organization who can comment on overall character, achievement and contribution to serve the greater community.
