To provide financial assistance to Hawaii residents who have been accepted or are enrolled in an aviation-related program at an accredited trade school, college or university. Qualifications: Applicants must be a resident of Hawaii; must be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident; cannot be the parent, spouse, child, grandchild or sibling to any current Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum Officer, Director, or employee; must be committed to pursuing a career in aviation/aerospace; must enrolled, in an aviation-related program at an accredited trade school, college, or university. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; should include: three letters of recommendation; ideally, recommendations will be from one personal, one professional, and one educational reference as applicable; provide a personal statement of 750 words or less to include: defining the desired aviation career field; statement of previous work experience or education showing commitment to the pursuit of an aviation career; summary of achievements in the desired field of aviation.
