To support Portuguese-American students in the pursuit of their higher education goals. Qualifications: Applicants must be palcus member; must be U.S. citizenship or permanent legal U.S. resident; Portuguese ancestry: aggregate of least 25%; must be full-time student attending a baccalaureate or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university in the united states (high school seniors / entering freshmen are not eligible); must have cumulative grade point average (GPA) of a minimum of 3.0. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria; basis of the academic record, extracurricular activities, community service, essay. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; should include an official college academic transcript (official seal or registrar's signature (not a screenshot) from all colleges previously attended); One page typewritten essay; instructor's recommendation.
