To support students pursuing law degrees. Qualifications: Applicants must be undergraduate, graduate, and law school students, as well as incoming college freshmen; must be in good academic standing and possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the applicants' qualifications and their submitted application documents. How to apply: Applicant must submit a current resume, an academic transcript, and a 1,000-word essay providing a well-reasoned argument about whether a specific policy in the criminal justice system (applicant's choice) is unjust and requires reform, or is just and should stay the same. Essay will be judged on the best-reasoned response, not on the position of the applicant. Focus: Law.
