To encourage and support LGBTQ+ students on Whidbey Island who are pursuing postsecondary education. Qualifications: Applicants must be current and future LGBTQ+ or ally leaders and role models who attend/attended a Whidbey Island High School or who currently reside on Whidbey Island, WA. Selection criteria: Priority given to LGBTQ+ students who need it most, for example, those who have faced family rejection and/or systemic barriers to educational access or have demonstrated commitment to advancing justice and the well-being of their communities. How to apply: Applicant must submit three essays, a resume, and academic transcripts. Focus: General studies/Field of study not specified.
