To provide financial assistance toward educational expenses for Green Valley High School Clark County, Nevada seniors planning to attend college/university. Qualifications: Must be Green Valley High School, Clark County, NV seniors who have been on the school's soccer team for at least two years, including senior year; planning to attend an accredited post-secondary college/university; have minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. Selection criteria: Financial need will be considered. How to apply: Applicants should submit a completed application form; two letters of recommendation from a teacher, school counselor, club advisor, coach or employer; an essay describing the reason or reasons why they are applying for the award and address both of the following questions: (a) How would the award benefit or impact the applicants' ability to obtain an education? (b) How has soccer impacted the applicants' life?; a financial need letter; resume; and current transcript. Focus: General studies/Field of study not specified.
