To provide for a student who resides or attends school in the City of North Las Vegas. Qualifications: Students who resides or attends school in the city of North Las Vegas; must have a minimum of a weighted GPA 3.0; must be in the process of attending or have been accepted to a college; must be CCSD Nevada seniors who attend a high school in the City of North Las Vegas may apply; must demonstrate financial need, and plan to attend an accredited college or university; recipient must be a full-time college student when using this scholarship. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on academic record, financial need, and community impact potential as demonstrated through an essay and other submitted materials. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; should include essay - 500 words or less - How will applicants education and career goals be helpful to the community?; a resume; a transcript (unofficial); a letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, administrator, coach or advisor; a financial need letter.
