To provide financial aid to college students, inspire students to pursue a career in any legal field, and encourage students to explore the role personal injury lawyers play in minimizing hazards, helping those injured, and encouraging people to think about consumer safety. Qualifications: Applicant must be currently enrolled in high school or college and plan to pursue any type of post-secondary degree, although previous entrants who did not win may participate again with new submissions; anyone who is affiliated with the sponsor as an employee, contract or regular and their respective family members are not eligible to enter. Selection criteria: Selection is based on the video essay or written essay. How to apply: Applicants must be submit a 1,000 – 1,500-word essay. Focus: Law.
