Qualifications: Applicant must be a graduating senior from schools in Cleveland County, NC; must be planning to enroll as a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the upcoming academic year; must plan to pursue a degree in a STEM field; must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Selection criteria: Selection is based on academics, work experience, participation and leadership in community and school activities, unusual personal or family circumstances, and submitted statement of educational and career goals.
