To provide scholarships to dependent children and spouses of fallen law enforcement officers. Qualifications: Applicant must be a dependent child or spouse of a fallen law enforcement officer; must be a graduating high school senior, previous graduate, GED holder, or current college student; must be enrolled or plan to enroll in a part-time or full-time undergraduate or graduate course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college or university or vocational technical school; must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Selection criteria: Selection is based on academics, financial need, unusual personal or family circumstances, submitted statement of educational and career goals, and letters of recommendation. How to apply: Applicant must complete the online application and submit current transcripts, two letters or recommendation, and a letter from a law enforcement agency verifying that parent or spouse worked there at the time of death in the line of duty.
