To support Florida students pursuing undergraduate education in construction-related degrees. Qualifications: Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or graduate, or GED holder who is either a child or relative of a current employee (as of the application deadline date) of the Weitz Co., FL Division, OR resident of Palm Beach County or Martin County, FL; must be a U.S. citizen; must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an undergraduate program at a college or university in the United States; must be pursuing a degree in architecture, civil engineering, construction management, interior design, or other construction-related fields (such as mechanical or electrical engineering or trades); must have a minimum 2.5 GPA; must demonstrate financial need. Selection criteria: Selection is based on academics, work experience, participation and leadership in school and community activities, unusual personal or family circumstances, statement of educational and career goals, financial need, and online recommendation. How to apply: Applicant must complete the online application and submit current transcripts. Applicant must have an online recommendation submitted on their behalf. One application covers all the CFPBMC Employer Funds. Focus: Architecture; Construction; Engineering, Civil; Interior design.
