To provide scholarships to graduates of Highland High School who plan to pursue undergraduate education. Qualifications: Applicant must be a graduating senior or previous graduate of Highland High School in New Jersey; must be in the top 25 percent of their graduating or current class; must have a minimum 3.0 GPA; must plan to enroll in fulltime undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college or university for the upcoming academic year. Selection criteria: Selection is based on academic performance, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities; work experience; statement of career and educational goals and objectives; unusual personal or family circumstances; submitted online recommendation; financial need; custom 1,000-character essay. How to apply: Applicant must complete the online application and submit current transcripts along with a copy of the first two pages of the most recently filed IRS Form 1040.
