To provide financial assistance to cover college educational expenses of students from East Palo Alto, CA. Qualifications: Applicants must be current graduating senior residing in East Palo Alto or high school graduate who resided in East Palo Alto during high school; must planning to enroll or currently enrolled in a two- or four-year college or university, or technical school, as a full-time student; must have cumulative grade point average of 3.0 - 3.75 on a 4.0 scale; must demonstrated financial hardship; demonstrated community involvement over a period of several years; must be East Palo Alto residents who show academic success and demonstrated financial hardship. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria; looks for academic promise and documented financial need.
