To provide scholarships to subsidize travel to the United States to attend the annual SJDM meeting; To support judgment and decision scholars who are not able to attend SJDM due to lack of funding. Qualifications: Applicants should be scholars living and working outside the United States; must be advanced graduate students at colleges and universities. Selection criteria: Selection will be granted on the basis of the committee's estimate of the prospective value of the proposed activity, its relevance to the field of judgment and decision research; the scholarly credentials of the applicant; and the extent to which the award would contribute to the applicant's success (including considerations of financial and academic need). How to apply: Applicants must be submit the application form; should submit a copy of their curriculum vitae and a one-page description of why they would be a good candidate for this award as well as the planned scholarly activities they anticipate to participate in at SJDM; if the applicant submitted a presentation to SJDM, they should include the title and short abstract of the presentation in this document submit applications via e-mail via attachments in pdf, Word, or rtf format.
