To provide opportunities to deserving students who exemplify interests in the professional growth of the ORL. Qualifications: Applicants must be current members of SOHN and may not be members of SOHN board of directors; must be RNs seeking BSN degrees. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria. How to apply: Applicants must include the following together with the application; copy of current enrollment in a graduate in nursing program (minimum of 6 hours/semester); copy of resent transcripts (must be minimum 3.0 GPA on 4.0 scale); tuition cost per hour including a statement/documentation of need for financial assistance and current assistance received; letters of recommendation from SOHN members, instructors or managers or from any person that the applicants wish to select and; narrative composed of 750-1000 words describing the applicant's past or current SOHN involvement, future SOHN goals and desire for advancing the applicant's degree in nursing. Focus: Nursing.
