To recognize a graduating senior who has been admitted and plans to attend the USC School of Journalism and Mass Communications. Qualifications: Applicants must also be on an SCSPA member staff; students applying for the SCSPA scholarship must be a graduating senior who is definitely planning to attend the University of South Carolina's School of Journalism and Mass Communications. Selection criteria: Applicants are judged on their scholastic journalism involvement, as well as their academic achievements while in high school. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online nomination form; student must meet two of the three requirements: Minimum (1)SAT or ACT (2)GPA (3)Class Rank; applicants must also upload a high school transcript and two letters of recommendation to complete their applications; if prefer to mail these documents mail. Focus: Journalism.
