To support a graduating senior pursuing a science-related degree. Qualifications: Eligible students must be graduating seniors at El Dorado High School who show promise and interest in science; must plan to pursue a career in a science-related field. Selection criteria: Selection criteria include financial need, academic merit, and recommendations. How to apply: Application must be completed through the online portal. Applicant must submit cumulative high school or college transcript through the most recent term which must include either ACT or SAT scores; two letters of recommendation, one from a school official and one from an adult other than a family member; a single page typewritten essay on the applicant’s educational and career goals. Focus: Biological and clinical sciences; Chemistry; Medicine; Science.
