To provide financial assistance for college students enrolled in a U.S. Air Force ROTC program. Qualifications: Applicants must either be a United States citizen or obtain U.S. citizenship by the last day of the first term of their freshman year; SAT composite of 1310 or ACT composite of 28; super scores are not accepted; the science portion of the ACT test must be taken in order to compete for a scholarship; cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.3 or higher; complete the physical fitness assessment, which consists of three events: push-ups, crunches and a 1.5-mile run; if offered a scholarship, must pass the physical fitness test before the end of their first semester of college; review board (DoDMERB) medical exam; will either be scheduled to take the physical exam at the nearest military base or be sent to a designated civilian contractor.
