To provide support to deserving students in Alaska who want to pursue an education in any campus of the University of Alaska. Qualifications: Applicants must be full-time students attending at any of the UA campus (whether at Fairbanks, at Anchorage, or at Southeast) and have a minimum GPA of 2.5. Selection criteria: Preference will be given to students studying science, education or engineering and to students who have been Alaska residents for at least one year and are from the Navy Lake area. How to apply: Applicants must: complete the application forms available at the website; must attach a personal essay, two letters of recommendation, and current transcripts; must also submit a paragraph describing their connection to and love for the Nacy Lake area.
