To provide scholars who best exemplify her values, achievements, and commitment to social issues (including addressing issues and fostering opportunities for women, racial minorities and those of low socio-economic background). Qualifications: Applicants must be humanities or social sciences graduate student (Masters or Doctoral level) who has completed at least one semester of graduate work in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences; former recipients are not eligible. Selection criteria: Selection scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis in the fields of Humanities, Social Sciences, Individual Interdisciplinary Studies and Women's Studies. How to apply: Applicants must submit application form; should include two (2) letters of recommendation; personal essay. Focus: Humanities; Interdisciplinary studies; Social sciences; Women's studies.
